As the Director of Research at RVH, Jesse regularly works with healthcare providers and industry partners who are at the forefront of medical innovation. Having obtained a Ph.D. in Laboratory Medicine and Pathology and fellowship training at Harvard Medical School, Jesse is uniquely positioned to not only pursue his own scientific interests, including the application of new medical technologies and processes, mental health and wellness, and health policy, but to support others in developing their own research passions, including grant writing, study design, data collection, statistics, and analysis.
I strive for a fulfilling work-life blend that often allows my hobbies to overlap with my professional interests and development. I enjoy challenges that force me out my comfort zone in regular, positive ways, so that I can learn new skills. For example, I’ve recently taken up AutoCAD design and 3D printing as both a hobby and opportunity for healthcare innovation. Among my more long-standing pastimes, traveling with my children, playing hockey and violin, gardening, and reading science fiction novels are my favorite.
