Our gratitude goes beyond words when we think about how incredible our Member community has been to support each other and SBX. This is why we want to ensure our Members return to a space that brings safety and confidence to working in a new collaborative environment.  SBX has implemented guidelines in order to maintain that confidence in accordance with Ontario Government and SMDHU directives. These guidelines fall within the limits of the Ontario Human Rights Code committee ruling Sept.22/21, that limits these measures to pandemic times.

  • Proof of vaccination will be required to enter select settings, including meeting and event spaces, as mandated by the Ontario Government.
  • This means that all SBX members and guests who are eligible for a vaccination must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to gain full access to the SBX indoor space and participate in any indoor activities:
    • Proof of vaccination is not required on the patio which includes the outdoor workspaces, meeting area, and activities
    • Proof of vaccination is required in the indoor workspaces, meetings areas, boardrooms, recording studio and activities

  • ALL SBX Members and their guests will NOT require proof of vaccine to:
    • Access washrooms, outdoor patio and meeting space, digital activities
  • SBX takes the privacy of its members, guests, and staff seriously and takes appropriate steps to comply with applicable privacy laws. An individual’s vaccination status is personal information that is not shared or disclosed outside the scope of a limited number of authorized persons, and even then, only for the limited purposes of implementing this plan.
  • Vaccination is a sensitive topic and the choice to be vaccinated is a personal one. This plan has been established with the goal of providing the highest level of safety to our team and community to ensure that as many businesses as possible can continue to operate.
  • SBX will continue to deliver digital content and provide technology to support inclusive meetings for those who are unable to fully access the SBX space and activities.
  • Masks are mandatory! Aligned with public health measures currently in place, upon entry we ask that you wear a mask while moving through the space or when in close proximity to others.
  • For additional details on what guidelines have been implemented in order to maintain confidence you can check out the SBX Advancing Collaboration with Confidence Guide.
  • Definitions to note:
