WHAT IS IT?
IP Osgoode, the Intellectual Property Law & Technology Program at Osgoode Hall Law School, York University, is an independent and authoritative voice which explores legal governance issues at the intersection of IP and technology. IP Osgoode cultivates interdisciplinary and comparative research, collaboration, policy-thinking, and practice.
WHAT DO THEY DO?
The clinic serves a diverse range of innovators. We assist clients by reducing some of the costs associated with protecting their IP. Services include: patents and prior art searches, trademark searches and copyright considerations, and IP-related agreements.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Under the supervision of practising IP lawyers, our law student volunteers will work with entrepreneurs and start-ups to help them recognize, protect, and commercialize their IP assets en route to commercial success.
